Nice man, almost too nice. Generally though, he's pretty dull. He'll flaunt a large vocabulary and background knowledge about other texts, but will say little of actual importance. Spark notes taught me better than this guy, and that's saying something.

The class is pretty easy, you watch a movie every thursday night and you write a paper every 2 weeks. The class is kinda of boring, but that is because the conversation is more on the students. So it slowly picks up. Anyway i would recommend this class its pretty cool. I also love movies.

I had Sanford for my senior seminar and really loved the class. He is a very smart person and very knowledgeable in his field. This class was set up that the students would get out what they put in. Be sure to pick his brain--he's very knowledgeable! Didn't get my final grade yet, so can't comment on overall grading, but he seems like fair grader.

If you are taking eng232, avoid this teacher(or ideally, class)at all costs. The professor is terribly inarticulate and you will analyze the text completely on your own.Then he will give youa C- on the paper for not addressing the topic. Had a 3.92 GPA coming into the course and left with a C. I did less work for Eng 231 & 221 and got A's for both.

Very nice guy, but the most boring human being to ever live. We did the same exact thing in class everyday, and it wasn't good the first time. It was painfully monotonous and I felt like I was wasting my life by being there. Also, he says "kind of" after every third word and it is annoying as sin

Prof. Schwarz is intelligent, but really has no idea what he's doing in front of a classroom. He can't get a group engaged, he can't keep a class moving, he can't identify when a class has nothing to say. Most of his points are obvious and drawn out. Books were very good, class was painfully dull.

Prof Schwartz is obviously very smart, but also VERY BORING. Class material is cool, but class itself is worthless. MOST BORING CLASS I've EVER SAT THROUGH
