Very good teacher if you are trying to get advice on how to get into industry. Very fair. Does not like tardiness, especially being late to class. Great for preparing you for scientific conference's.

somewhat frustrating class. if you are a bad test taker, don't take this class. his tests are very difficult and require remembering specific info from weeks before. he is not clear at all, and trying to study is a joke. and don't expect help from the labs, because they don't coincide at all.

During this course, I was hospitalized with Mono for over a week, and I missed an important test. Tripp would not allow me to make it up nor did he help me with the three chapters I missed. That semester, I got all A's and a D-. I was not happy.
