Gary is the best. He does his best to help if you come to him. He literally set up new tutoring times because I told him I couldn't come to the other tutoring hours. He's so funny, a little wacky, but hilarious. He really tries his best to help everyone do their best.

Comment:

Such an amazing person, he is so kind and willing to go out of his way to make sure you pass. It is a hard class, but if you put the time in, take the initiative, and get help he will help you succeed. He makes class so fun and enjoyable by making jokes and doing crazy things. I definitely recommend him as a teacher, if you can take him do it!

Gary is a funny guy to say the least. He can sort of get off topic sometimes, but he knows what he's talking about. He's not a professor out to fail kids. Understanding and pretty cool.

I've gone to him outside of class on several occasions to get credit back for things that should not have been marked wrong on major exams. I am an engineering major and have passed calculus 1 and two as well as statics, in which I use the material of on exams in this class that he marks wrong because the way I do them does not match up exactly

Okay professor, a lot of work for a gen ed class. He isn't very clear about the equation part of the course and can be condescending at times. If I could go back and not schedule the class I would, it's not worth the credits. P.S. if you did not take physics in high school I would not recommend taking this class, you need at least some background.

great professor explains things really well I have two advice's the first one is make sure you do really well in the quizzes because it determinants your grade another thing is to study from the homework and from the text book problems and you will get an A guaranteed

What more can you ask for? You get to understand what physics really means. He is really helpful in explaining the material. Get ready for a lot of quizzes!! Grading system is more than fair. Curves all exams. Extremely helpful, whether you are looking for a homework extension or even delaying an exam for the whole class!

This guy is absolutely awful! I have never struggled with a class so much in my collegiate career. His notes don't make any sense, his teaching is extremely unorganized, his jokes are terrible. I have not learned a single thing from this class and I think it's safe to say most of the reason why is his fault. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!

Gary is the best professor I ever had. He is so into the subject matter, that he even made ME interested in physics, and prior to his class I HATED physics. He is truly an amazing teacher. There need to be more professors like him, who really care about their students and job.

Take this class! Gary is awesome! The material is somewhat challenging but he is very reasonable and curves everything. He does random attendance checks that count towards your participation score. Definitely a worthwhile general ed. course.

AWESOME professor! He definitely knows what he's talking about and you can tell he enjoys it too. He always makes class interesting by throwing chalk, making jokes, and doing other crazy things to get your attention and make you laugh. Highly suggested class and professor!
