I got an 88 in the class so I guess I was one of his favorites. I liked the class, it wasn't too focused on lecturing and the labs were fun. He marked a little tough (of course I'm used to higher marks) but it was a good class.

Very intersting class with a hands on approach. Lots of real live samples like working with babies to conduct experiments. Does not feel like a class/lecture at all. Easy to keep interst in class. Fairly easy marker and very helpful when you approach him with questions. More profs should be like Carl!

Terrible teacher. He didn't like being asked for help, and all he does is talk (I have like NO notes). The class was really easy, but since it was small, he picked favorites..and I wasn't one of them. The baby lab was really fun though!

Very helpful and enthusiastic...Responds quickly to emails...Very helpful...Willing to meet with students...Fair marker...Excellent sense of humour...Willing to go over papers/posters with students BEFORE they're handed in to be graded...Very knowledgeable...Goes out of his way to help you find articles...I highly respect and recommend this prof :)
