TEST ARE HARD and focusses on the small little details like statistics. She is a cool professor, but the tests are difficult if you dont take detailed notes. READ THE BOOK LIKE 10 TIMES because the test is hard! Class is not mandatory but it helps if you go, if you dont go, at least make sure you read the chapters. DONT TAKE IF YOU DONT NEED TO!

Classes crammed a lot of information into a small amount of time. Tests were detail oriented, no broad ideas. PSA group assignment was horrible-she picks the group for you and there's no way around it. Text book is essential to get small details for tests. Not easy, but it sounds like a breeze from what I've heard about the major abnormal class

Her tests are mission impossible. If you write too much, you get points taken off.. If you right too little, you get points taken off. She believes that a high D is "average" makes you do community activities, audio lectures, and in class lectures. Way too much information, doesn't matter how much you study for the test, fought for a 2 in the class

Skip this prof. She will expect you to spend hours outside of class listening to lectures and doing community stuff. Going to class will help. Her tests are made last minute and unclear 80% of the time. You have to write JUST enough on exams. She docks for what she considers"rambling". Usually quick to update grades. Unfair towards tech errors.

The class is a great class and I would reccomend it. However, the textbook is used a lot so if you dont like reading, dont take this. Also, her grading is horrible! Her scale is way off so my grade randomly dropped by 3 percent one day and she couldnt back up why it did. Also, her tests are hard and you dont get a study guide.

She excepts a lot of you. Her tests are hard, and you need to read the text. Read it before you come to class, and participate. Ask her questions, she's more than willing to answer. She has a lot of energy too. You don't cover all the material in class from the text, so be sure to read and study it.

Class with Carla has taught me that I don't have to get A's on everything as long as I have learned the material. If you are a GPA freak, don't take this class unless you know you go above and beyond the call of duty. Tests are challenging, but not hard anymore once you realize she is a master tester. Don't expect to whiz through.
