Great prof. Encourages us seek help any time. Even responded to math questions I sent via txt message @ night. I don't like Calculus but after taking his class I can see its usefulness. Liked the group work and practical problems. Hated studying and test. Awesome prof. Hard subject. If you get behind, go see him.

Quiz every single day. Until half way through the course he didn't use class time to go over hw or test content. When he did: half of the time to explain 3 questions out of 25. Rest of time wasted teaching how to operate Houdini software. It would require previous experience or an entire other class just to learn this high industry level software.

Carlos is a funny person and above average professor. Experienced web coders will get an easy A and those without experience will be fine. You can usually miss lecture and be fine, just complete ebooks and labs. For the final project, many "just in time" assignments are given in lecture and missing one will lower your final project grade.

I went from no knowledge of the course to total understanding, well at least enough to score a beautiful internship. Morales is really funny and made that 8AM a great class. If I ever had problems with a site I was working on Morales always had an answer for those who reached out for help

Morales is an amazing professor! He knows so much about everything. I took a mobile game development class, and while a lot of work, was really fun. He also has many connections, which helps. He got our games reviewed by professionals in the industry as well as tested by 25 random peers. If you can get ahold of him, he will answer any question.

Excellent professor. Makes you work, but you if you give the effort, you will reap the rewards. Also has a plethora of knowledge of anything CG and math. Very helpful, especially if you show promise and initiative.

Had Carlos for two classes. This guy knows everything, I'd recommend taking his class no matter what the subject matter. Does push you to learn and do your best work. Intelligence is a must to survive in one of Carlos' classes.

Carlos is a great teacher and great guy. His projects are a wee bit overwhelming, but he will help you in anyway he can (if you can get a hold of him). I once sent him an email at 4:30AM on a weeknight and he replied back in 5 minutes with coding tips. W
