Prof. Simmions is a good teacher. You learn alot of thing in his class. However, people who do not like to do homework and writing papers then this class is not for you. He expect alot from you when writing your research papers. He doesn't lower his standard when grading paper he expects you to meet his standard. In other words, he is not lenient.

First day I thought what am I doing in this class..but then he turned out to be awesome...so I took him again for 102 again..awesome teacher..you actually learn from him...tells you exactly how to give your final...and if you do well during semester...and fail the final...he can push you over..so...I got pushed up...Highly Recommended

In the beginning of the semester, you are going to get the sense that this class is stressful. To a faint degree it is because the workload is tedious. On average you will have to do 5 papers, but if you have a clue on how to write you can easily get a B-. (He fought for my final exam when it got a split grade and passed it.)

biggest **** i ever met. He trys to make people drop the class, he even said it himself. he is very hard. He gives pop quizes. You have to pass the department final to pass the class, yet he's style of teaching is totally different from the final.
