LOTS of reading and writing. I found this class required more effort than I had time for, but she was a fair grader and despite the amount of reading and writing in this class, I thought it was pretty reasonable. She takes a looooooooong time to grade stuff. Not a huge deal.

She was extremely helpful throughout the course. I took the course while I was still in high school over the summer, and she was super understanding. She gave out her cell number, and I texted her anytime I had a question. I even MISSED the deadline for the midterm exam and she reopened and extended it for me! She rocks.

What can I say. Professor Bowers will leave you for dead in an online class. Papers are insane with constant writing, yet you will wait a month or more for your grade, she does NOT participate with discussions. I could have saved my money and just bought the text book and taught myself everything I feel I learned with no help from her on my own.

Took the 3 week intersession Civil War class. Every Mon, Wed, and Fri there were 3 discussion posts due daily. Every Tues and Thurs there was a 2 page paper due. As long as you followed her guidelines (3 paragraph inital posting, 1 paragraph follow up posting, 2 page double spaced papers)and turn everything in on time, it's an easy A!

Worst online class I have ever taken. Has no interaction with students. Ton's of work including a 10 page term paper, 4 test, and various other assignment. You will be lucky if she responds to your emails

A very nice woman, but I took her online class and she was NOT easy to contact. One time she didn't email me for WEEKS and I really thought she was seriously ill/injured and unable to teach. Anyway, I did every assignment and got an A- on everything (no matter how much effort.) If ur a slacker, go for it, but A students, stay away, too much stress
