Accounting will be hard no matter what. She is a great teacher, gives enough problems so you know what to study for and know. She is super nice and always helpful. Great to listen to in class. Probably the best teacher that I've ever had in 4yrs of college.

This is a difficult class no matter who you take it with, but she is very fustrating. Super nice lady, but messes up in class alot!! Hard to listen to and maintain focus. There is no way getting around studing in this class!

I failed this course, and was on track for failing from the beginning. I spent probably 2 hours a night studying this stuff, and that was outside the online homework that took another 2 hours. I stuck with it anyway and finished out the semester with 45% I think. Glad I did, because it helped me get a B the 2nd time around with Marrer in the summer

I really liked this class, took it in Fall 2009. She is a very nice person, and tries hard to make things interesting. Those of you that say this class or any other accounting class is too hard: Please don't expect to slide by in accounting classes and then complain 5 years later that you can't read a basic balance sheet or P&L report.

Very, very nice lady. She knows accounting incredibly well which can sometimes be a problem when you can't understand what she's explaining. The tests are definitely passable with studying, otherwise goodluck! She writes and talks fast which make her hard to understand and her examples don't always show you how to do the homework which is hard.

Very nice lady and very helpful, kinda like a grandma, but it is hard material. I dont know if she could change her teaching style to make it easier but its hard. She does give you practice exams before the test which are pretty close to the real thing. Final is long and tough, i studied 7 whole days for it. Good luck!

She is very nice but her teaching style is not very good. She gets confussed during class and then it just makes it 10X more confusing to understand it. I will be retaking this class and it sucks because she is the only professor who teaches this class, im hoping she retires.

I personally don't think she is a very good professor at all. She might be very nice but I thought she was a horrible teacher of the material. The exams were also relatively difficult where she would throw is some items that we didn't even talk about in class.

Nice person, but boring to listen to. The class is difficult, but it teaches you important things you need to know. The class would be hard with anybody. She gives you the test from the past semester to study from, helps alot. Remember, there are two methods for figuring interest on bonds, learn the opposite one than what is on the past test.

Material is not that hard, she just explains it very poorly. You will learn more reading the book, doing the homework and talking to the tutors than you will listening to her dialtone-like voice drone for 75 minutes. Also does not bother to make sure students understand answers when asking questions. By all means take accounting, just not from her.

Tough class. I recommend showing up all the time or the tests will be impossible. They are extremely difficult anyway. She goes through the material really fast. It is very easy to get lost. Good luck.

Very dufficult class! The past tests help alot. She has a tendency to tell everybody how good she was in college and how easy & logical accounting is for her. Duh you have a PhD. Also bad mouths finance majors vs. accounting majors.

Never stops talking about how smart she is and when she went to Madison. Teaching methods are horrible. Doesn't know how to help students when they ask questions. You think you know her style of tests, but then she'll totally put something you've nevr seen before on them. Really hope they let someone else teach this class soon! Good Luck!!!

Get the tests from past students, I heard they are exactly the same. If not your curve is ruined because of those who have the tests. She is nice but not that willing to help you when you are not understanding something.
