She will give you all of the prompts for the final weeks ahead of time, plus be EXTREMELY accessible for questions beforehand; rapid, detailed replies. Just make sure you show up (attendance policy), and read the Tome of Business Organizations. Cheap, homemade textbook, but it is a textbook, not simplified. Three words: Computer to Type.

Despite her assurances, the quiz points are very difficult to earn. Her lectures are long-winded and condescending. The materials are extensive (over 1,000 pages, which she wrote). Take MBM.

Does not hide the ball. Clear and straightforward. You know when you have to be prepared to speak in class and the final has no surprises. Explains concepts quickly and simply.

She's really laid back, just get the biblescript and you'll do fine. this spring she started giving quizzes, we only needed to get 10 points from them. So you have to go, but other than that it worked out fine. She gives your the test fact pattern sometime around spring break, then will just ask you the questions on test day and let you usenote

Unlike past semesters, she decided to call randomly instead of in alphabetical order in Business Organizations, so be ready. Straightforward, but a little harsh when calling on people. You'll cover a ton of material + statutes, but it's well laid out.

She gets cranky and is just plain mean to some students (seem to mostly be girls). Boring in class, but likes it if you come to her office and ask questions.

She calls on people by day (A-J on Mondays, etc.) so be prepared for your day. She explains difficult concepts well, her review days are very helpful, and class is actually interesting. She gets grouchy if students are not prepared or haven't read the statutes associated with the assignments. Do the readings, pay attention, and you'll do fine.

You want easy? Take Goforth. You want to learn (and work)? Take Matthews. If you take Goforth, don't go to class and listen to her read statutes all semester. Skip it and get the outline. You'll do fine.

Prof. Goforth puts the info out there in a clear, basic manner, which is helpful. Seems like she reads right out of the book a lot of the time. Her class was boring, but I liked it because it was easy to understand.
