Comment:
Professor Bolling is pretty clear cut about what he expects from students. 3 tests, 7 total discussion boards (you only have to complete 5, and you don't have to comment on anyone else's) with plenty of extra credit if needed. I'll be taking more of his classes.

Took his course online, you will be teaching yourself. He has very little contact with students, a lot of reading from the textbook and the textbook material is dry and boring read. Test are very tough and does not relate to what is covered in textbook, he test you on four chapters at one time. Take at your own risk.

Loved this online Anthro Class. It was easy and very fascinating, never knew Anthropology would be so interesting. You gotta read the book, but as long as you don't fall behind it's really easy. 1 or 2 chapters a week. I took notes along the way on Word, with CTRL+F it makes quizes/exams super easy! Weekly Discus. Boards. No Papers! Take his class!

I highly recommend taking Prof. Bollings class. I took this and his 211 class, both online. It was easy, just stay up on your reading. The book was easy to read + interesting. Discussion boards every week. No papers. Quizes/Exams were a breeze (esp. if you take notes), with an hour to complete. If you don't get an A in this class you didn't try!!!

Great on line class and easy too. The syllabus is crystal clear and the assignments are fair. Read the book and especially the definitions and the tests are not that bad. The discussion boards are also pretty interesting. Not a hard class to pass and you can get an A if you study. Prof. Bolling is also prompt in his replies. Highly recommended.

I took his online class. Four discussion board posts. Four tests. Four extra credit projects that can be worth 28 points added to grade. He's awesome and responds to emails. Easy A if all work and extra credit is done.

Took online. Grade=4 discussion replies + 4 exams. Ample extra credit offered. You have to read the book and be able to synthesize material. He is fair but expects online students to be able to work on their own. Doesn't give study guides or test reviews. If you need help, he'll do his best, but don't expect an immediate reply! I'd take him again.

I had proffessor Bolling for Sociology of the Family and for Social Problems. Both were done as part of the distance learning curriculum. His grading is fair and he allows extra credit.Take anything that he teaches. You will be pleased.
