Very frustrating experience to be honest. The material covered is taught through software so be prepared to be an independent learner. You will self teach yourself everything and when you do have a question, it will be very hard to get a direct answer. Keep a record of anything that you physically hand in because often times it is lost.

She is NOT helpful. I rarely ask questions, but when I do have one its like pulling teeth for an answer. So I get nowhere and am still stuck in the same position I was before. I have to ask other students to help me. I wish there were other instructors that I could choose over her.

Awful, awful. Class is easy but this woman will give you tests and believe what the computer says over you. You have to make an ass out of her and prove her completely wrong for her to believe you. If you need one of her classes, they're easy but do not expect any help from this moron.

Knew absolutely nothing of what she was teaching, even though she's the program director. Which actually scares me. If you have a specific question, she gives a broad and confusing answer. Not really a teacher, more so a babysitter to supervise the class. The book teaches you, not the unintelligent "professor."

She is a horrible professor! She is impatient & rude to all students. Is not knowledgeable about subject and assigns every assignment in book to do the teaching for her. Does not return emails and constantly shows up late & leaves early. BCC should be embarassed to have Martin as a member of their faculty.

I would not recommend this teacher. You have to do all the work by yourself. There is not much help from her side. She doesn't even correct the work herself. Don't expect your questions to be answered. She doesn't have knowledge about the subject and it takes forever to give back the tests. The only good thing is that the tests are take home tests.

I never really talked to her but when i asked her a question, she would always answer it rudely. When others needed help she wasnt that nice to them. I dont think she looked over any of our work. I just took the class so i could type much faster, but others were there cause they couldnt type at all and she wasnt very helpful to them.

What can I say to describe Carol Martin? She wasn't to bad to me but to my class mates she was. I just really didn't talk to her. Not very good at her job. Doesn't care about her students.Ignores you when you ask her a question.Is rude. And is always moody!

Not a good teacher. Half of the time she isn't even in the class. She ususally arrives 10 minutes late and then leaves to go to her office and comes back about 20 minutes later. Most of the time when I ask her for help she tells me that she doesn't know what to do either and that maybe I should get help from someone in the tutoring lab.
