I took Calc. 1 with her a few years ago. She was very clear and concise. Just do the work and study a little and it's not bad. I'm terrible in math and pulled off a C. If I had tried a little harder, I'm sure I could have had a B.

I got an A in her Alg class, that was with a tutor 2x a week tho. She is monotone, condecending, has no personality and is BORING. Why bother going to class? She reads straight from the book.The comp final was taken with the last test; therfore, not enough time to finish. Make sure to get an IV of caffeine!

I think I must have been taken a different professor. I find her method of teaching very clear and her method of grading leaves you in no doubt how you are doing. Her graded assignments, quizzes and tests are of moderate difficulty neither too easy or out to trick you. I would not hesitate to take any other classes that she is teaching.

if you have never taken calculus I before, DO NOT TAKE HER! she teaches horribly, i basically teach myself. all she does is write example from the book on the board. i might as well not go to class. i am struggling to get a C in this class, however in all prior math classes i have gotten A's. she has ZERO personality n NEVER even greets the class.

She talks like an elementry teacher, kinda condensending, shes not very friendly, ive smiled at her many times, with nothing in return, a couple of times she did smile, i thought her face was gunna break. shes very strick on tests, and its somewhat confusing about what she wants from you at frist, but once u get used to it its much easier. the class is long, and she doesnt make it go any faster, and theres no break inbetween. so take a nap before class otherwise u will fall asleep.

I had her two years ago and didn't find her very helpful. I'm horrible at math and don't feel comfortable asking questions but whenever I did ask she answered in a roundabout way. She was nice generally but make sure you are on time she locks the door on you the instant class starts.

Once again a teacher at RVC that can't teach MTH 098. She is an extremly tough grader and rarely ever gave half credit for at least trying a problem in depth like many other teachers in Math will do. Only knows one way to teacher material which doesn't help when the entire class is confused and needs a differnet example.

She may have been helpful and clear, but it was easy to fall asleep in her class. She didn't make anything fun or interesting, or even relate it to teaching the material. If you know junior high math this class was a blow off class, and it was hard to get up and go with out falling asleep.

I would have to say that she is the most boring teacher I have had. I think she hates her job which is too bad becuase I took her for a TEACHING class. She is a terrible dresser...and she is totally unwilling to help. I HAD to get a tutor, and don't dare ask questions...she rolls her eyes.

When it comes to lower developed math she is OK but bored about it. In Calc she is more into it and seems to enjoy it better, so if you need a math 98 or below, take Clark he's great but in Calc take partenhiemer and stay the heck away from Frang. Went there for 5.5 yrs, I know which ones to take.

She is a good teacher if you're good at math. I got an A in her calc class, but the kids who weren't so hot in math didn't do so well. Take her, but if you have troubles in math...get a tutor too. Drops lowest test and quiz score.
