Her name is Carol Roemer, not Romer. Anyways, I loved her class. She reminded me of Edna "E" Mode from The Incredibles. Haha. Make sure your cell phone is on silent during class because she's anal about that. Other than that, she's chill. Lectures are kinda boring but if you actually listen and take notes in class, the tests will be easy for you.

Roemer has an energetic, easy going personality, gives interesting lectures and easy enough grades -- what more can you ask from a college level instructor? If you need to take Art History, highly recommend her.

Mrs. Romer is an excellent professor, she'll keep you on your toes tho. 3 hour lectures are hard to sit through, but she trys to keep the students engaged. She loves the material ! Tests may be a bit diffucult for those who don't study. More than enough practice material is provided online (all you have to do is look at it). Highly recommend her !

Dr. Romer is incredibly passionate about her students and art history. She is always excited about the content of the class, which makes it easier to relate to. She even brings tea and cookies for students to every class. The only thing is that she demands excellence from her students which is good, but it ended up having the workload of two classe

Dr. Roemer is great, how can you not laugh at her crazy, over-the-top antics. If you have a question she is more than willing to help you. It may seem difficult, but it is really just a standard art history class. People complain about the slide identification on her tests, but that's what art history is. She's pretty easy, though.

She was a good teacher but I received a B with 89.9% even though I was 1 point away from an A. She takes off points for not having materials which is totally STUPID... I didnt have a pencil and she took off 5 points.. Totally Elementary School.. Which would have GIVEN ME AN A!! Still BITTER...

What a remarkable teacher, There are few homeworks, and they are really easy. technically they are extra credit. The exams are really easy as long as you take the practice exams.Cough*Exams=PracticeExamsCough* her class is fun, her lectures were filled with "oohs" and "aahs". I took her art history class over the summer. Yes, some aspects of her personality are irritating (such as referring to herself in the 3rd person), but she's a great teacher. She is very straightforward about tests and basically gives you all of the questions and answers ahead of time, and extra credit. She makes it very easy to do well.

Professor Roemer is one of the best instructors I ever had. If you have a chance to take her class you are very lucky. It is really hard to find professors like her. She is really passionate and has a lot of knowledge about art and the way she teaches will make you love art even more. Her class is for smart people who really want to learn!

Carol is a great instructor. Her lectures are filled with so much knowledge that you can't help but learn something new and important about art. She is very warm and friendly whenever you need to speak to her which is always a bonus. Her class requires a strong desire to explore art which is great for all art majors. I definitely recommend her

What can you say about a teacher who refers to herself in the third person? Either she thinks very highly of herself, or she thinks her students are idiots who need a constant reminder that she is the authority on the subject. She knows her stuff alright--but her personality is very off-putting. I left after 3 days and will not go back.

If you don't love art history or ANY art class from Professor Roemer, than something is SERIOUSlY wrong with you. She makes art approachable, understandable, and she opens your eyes to seeing the world in a new way. She saved my life I can tell you that! Kudos!

Lots of material, but it is pretty easy since she tells you exactly what to memorize for the exams. Her personality is really hard to deal with. She will treat you like you are a child (she calls herself "Mrs. Roemer") and she will yell at you if you misbehave. Sometimes her personality is up and energetic...sometimes it is very down...
