She's a great teacher. She is always there for you and is hilarious. She has lived such an incredible life and is honestly very inspirational. I absolutely suggest taking whatever classes she teaches. If she knows you care or even try in the slightest, you'll do well. She does everything she can to make sure her students do well.

I don't understand why anyone would say that her classes are tough. I passed with a 92, and I didn't study as much as I should have. I say attendance is non-mandatory, but unless you wanna study your brains out like apparently some students have to do, you should definitely go. She also puts all of her lectures up on Blackboard.

Professor Short is incredibly sweet and really loves what she does. However, if you can avoid taking this course with her, definitely do so. She is very intelligent but gets off topic very easily and doesn't properly prepare you for the exams. If you don't mind teaching yourself the material right before the test, you'll be fine.

Sarah Short is very sweet, but I think it's time to retire. You don't need to go to class until the class before the test because she gives you all the test questions. She is unclear alot of the time and her tests can be HARD. If you don't prepare for the tests, it is really easy to do poorly on it.

Hilarious person. Going to the one class before the test (review day) will give you all the info you need (attendance isn't mandatory). Don't be fooled - STUDY FOR THE TESTS. Very possible to do well, but also very possible to do horribly (usually one or the other).

When she claims to tell you what on the test make sure you don't believe her entirely. Tests are very hard but there is no work outside of them. Still, I don't recommend this class as an elective.

This class is magnificent. It is an easy class. Ms. Short is adorable. She teaches the material we need to know and then lets you out early every, single class. She basically tells you the answers to the exam questions. If you go to class, listen, and study for the exams, you'll get a B or higher.

Awful class. I am an A student got a C+ in the class. If you are an athlete however you will get an A. If you're not you must really study and that might not even be enough.

Great teacher! Class was always very interesting, however she may have gone on tangents rather frequently, I learned a lot here. if you study, you will do well. Going to class isn't mandatory, and she puts class notes online, but going to class is important to pick up a few questions that she will forget to put on Blackboard.

The class is extremely interesting but her exams are not that easy, you will need to get close to As on 3 of them (she drops the lowest exam score) to get an A in the class. She may tell you what's on the exam but there's a lot she leaves out so I suggest making a good study guide. Other then that, she's adorable!

Don't buy the textbook. You won't need/use it. Print out the notes, go to class, and underline everything she talks about. Stay for review sessions and write down questions for the test (she gives it to you). Study what she says as well as your underlined notes. You will get an A. 4 tests. First two tricky, but last two easy (esp. the test #4).

Dr. Short is a terrible teacher. She is so old and makes no sense. Her notes are just radom bits of information and none of it goes together. I am an A range student and did not do very well on her tests (C and B). I highly reccomend not taking her class!!!

Dr. Short may have been interesting as a professor years ago. But at this point she's just so old that at times you can't even understand her. Her tests are difficult if you don't go to classes. She does read the test the day before the exam...but she also gives hints through out the lectures. I appreciate her enthusiasm, but that's about it.

Didn't learn much. Need to go to class to get some secret answers, but usually you can get a previous study guide from someone else because I dont think the class has changed much in the last 60 years. She drops 1 test, but that means your grade is based on 3 tests, all of which are tricky.

Professor Short needs to retire. She may have been a good professor back in the day, but now she is incoherent and very unhelpful. Her lectures don't make sense and her tests are rather difficult because she doesn't go over the material well.
