She is a little batty but the sweetest woman you will meet. She is very repetative. If you have a question she will do her very best to help you understand. Always puts a question on the test that I'm sure we never talked about or read about. I don't know where she gets it from.

This explains why professors maybe should have a teaching degree! So students can be taught in a fashion that they are indeed learning the material! Just because a person has a doctorate in their field, does not make them a good teacher. And Slater is a prime example of this. Her teaching style lacks so student learning isn't being maximized.

Possibly the most boring, most repetative person on the face of the planet. Took 45 minutes to explain rat lab when everyone already knew what they were doing. Has an uncanny ability to look and at like a rat.

I think she might be getting too old to teach anymore. She might be off her rocker. When she wasn't acting crazy, I was sleeping or doodling. She's hard to understand at times, but she's totally helpful and kind outside of class.

Dr. Slater is a crazy crazy lady who rambles about nothing for hours on end. However, she is better then taking the Social Psych class with Thorsen.
