This class was one of the most interesting and beneficial classes I have ever taken.. not just for school.. but for life.. every American needs to inform themselves of Southwest Asia's history and what has led to the situation that we find ourselves in now.. she does lend her self researched opinion but allows students to offer theirs as well

full of herself. thinks nothing of you unless you've traveled. i had written an essay and realized she hadn't put it in my grade yet. she said it was because i needed to rewrite it but waited to tell me until nearly the end of the semester. i wasn't the only one either. she has bad teaching skills. it's all about her.

Ty Benoit is the most unprofessional teacher I have dealt with at Butte College. She is extremely biased and teaches from her opinion rather than fact. She lets her hyper liberal political views (and emotions) get in the way of her teaching and uses her classes as her personal and political soapbox.

Ty is an excellent teacher! Students who are not familiar with the internet should not take her class. She encourages students to learn from each other. She is a wealth of information. She expects a lot out of you but will give you a lot in return. Ty is one of my personal heros and is by far the best Professor at Butte College. I recommend her to anyone willing to work hard for their education. I took every possible class I could with her. The world needs more teachers like her.

Anyone who is open-minded and willing to accept things about this country and the world that they may not want to believe will LOVE Ty. She is the most accurate History teacher I have EVER had. Being a History major myself, I can vouch for the truthfulness of everything she's taught us. AWESOME!!

Awful. She teaches like she is teaching in junior high school. extremely full of herself and her views. very insecure and thrives on the adoration of the students. Extremely biased and unprofessional. One of the few teachers or professors that actually evoked a feeling of hate.
