Carol is the absolute best professor at Elon! She cares about all of her students, and only wants the best for them. She comes off as a little tough at first, but is an absolute sweetheart. Would recommend taking her for every class available!

Dr. Smith is a great teacher to have for Elon 101. She is extremely helpful and is very realistic, especially when it comes to helping you choose classes. I loved taking her class this semester; I learned the essentials about Elon and also learned a lot about myself.

Comment:

Overall, a good teacher. Shows an interest in the material. On the first day, admits that she is a hard teacher, not good to hear. Class averages on quizzes were in the D range and she grades papers pretty tough. Honestly, this is a health class, and not a place to give kids D's and C's. I would avoid her if you want to have a respectable grade.

Wonderful woman. Clearly cares about her students. Work load is not much, but you do need to study for the tests- they are not as easy as one might expect from a health/wellness class. You do need to make sure YOU look up when assignments are due, because she does not give many reminders. Overall, I highly recommend taking her section.

Impossible grader, she had assignments due at 6am on Monday mornings, meaning we had to work on them over the weekend. Absolutely rediculous class and teacher, not happy or satisfied with anything I learned (which was all stuff that I learned, not stuff that she taught) Unbelievable!

She is a very nice person. Very concerned about the wellness of her students. However she never reminds you when assignments are due, or when tests will be. It is up to you to look on blackboard and see when things are due. Her tests are fairly hard. I would not recomend taking her class.

She's really nice and is very into her job. She includes a lot of cute activities into her class and sometimes lets class out early. However, tests are fairly challenging, and she does not cover the reading material in class. It's not an easy A, it requires some effort.

Carol is a tricky one to figure out. She comes off as much tougher then she actually is, so don't be overly intimidated. She will never ever give you a direct answer, so the quicker you accept this the better. Shes's a cool lady, and you should do fine... I mean it is Elon 101. Who fails Elon 101... honestly.

Really nice woman, and always willing to help. You can tell she loves her job. She expects a lot for a wellness class but it isnt bad. You get to work with partners on tests, and they arent that hard anyway.

Great teacher and very helpful. The course material is boring but she somehow makes it fun. Shes full of stories and often goes off on tagents, which i enjoyed. There is a lot of pointless work, but its like that in all of the HED classes. Do the work and show up and you'll be golden.
