She was a decent professor. The final was hard, I actually had to reread a whole book in order to do well on her final. If you read every book, attend class EVERYDAY, and participate in somewhat interesting discussions, you will get an A. She wasn't that bad if you did the work.

This women is the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. She gives people good grades that don't deserve them. She plays favoirties, and makes you write a paper every week...about stupid topics like work. Please do your self a favor and DO NOT TAKE THIS WOMEN!

Avoid for any education related coursework. I did not learn how to evaluate, or even how to approach evaluating. I didn't even know how she was going to evaluate me. We received no grades, or indications of performance until the end of term, and then people left crying.

If you're interested in literature and/or writing, Dr. Bencich is amazing. She loves her discipline, is very committed to what she does AND, although she's not particularly young, she keeps up with academic changes and encourages intellectualism.

Very nice lady who appreciates those who appreciate literature. The only way to make it through her class though is to really love literature otherwise you will blow your brains out from boredom.
