This is the worst teacher I've ever had in my college career. my advice: TAKE ANOTHER SOCIOLOGY CLASS. I've bonded with people in other classes through our dislike of this woman. Now she doesn't teach at cabrillo anymore. To answer the question before me, I think you can still review even if said teacher is gone.

worst teacher ive ever had. My advise to you is is go through extreme measures to take someone else, even if it changes your schedule. She is extremely rude and old and expects us to learn what she says, WORD FOR WORD. horrible horrible horrible!

Coofey's class was... how shall we say...different? interesting? No, it was frustrating at times but the teacher had something to offer every class if one was willing to take it. It is hard to get a word in edge wise with her and she does expect respect. I would only take recommend this class if you are a student who likes to listen and not speak.

she is the worst teacher, i've never met before. she rules her class and chages everything to her own view. she demends to students to memorize everything she says, if you don't use her exact words you are wrong, even though it's the same meaning. she is too old to teach. she is altering the book to her own way. she's moron. She expects a lot of her students, but clearly states her demands. Follow her rules, read the text well,show up to class, and you should be fine. She knows her stuff, and is an interesting yet frustrating teacher because she is different. She is also amazingly kind outside of class. She will go to extreme measures to help you however she can.

Coffey is a very informed instructor. She expects a lot from her students, like respect and being prepared, and I appreciate that in a teacher. She may be strict, but I think it's because she respects students too much to waste their time. If you want to get something out of your education and are willing to challenge yourself, then take her class.

Wow. This woman should not be teaching. This is a subject I love, and I tried to stick it out, but I could NOT stand her, and dropped the class. DON'T take her class. It will come close to ruining your semester.

She is working out her own personal issues through this class. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER, but she has a facinating strong point to her class. Everyday she requires students to sit in a different seat. By the end of the semester our whole class was solidified against her because we had all validated our otherwise isolated suspicions about her.

She is really intelligent and if i were to talk to her outside of class, i would probably like her. but as a teacher...it makes me sick. i can't even go into all the little things she could change to be a better teacher. its unbelievable how a terrible teacher can slip under the radar of a great school.

I want to gauge my eyes out when i think about her class. When i'm in her class, i get a terrible feeling like i'm going to spontaneously combust, crap my pants, and have blood squirt out of my eyes. By the end of the class, i have learned nothing pertaining sociology and feel totally drained. Her teaching method is impossible to learn from.

I've taken two of her classes and I found them to be pretty easy A's. She's just kind of obnoxious but she's not the demon people here make her out to be. Yes, she is out of touch. Yes, she treats her students like 3 yr olds. I hated being tardy to her class because she would glare at me. Just do the reading and the tests are v. v. v. easy.

I've taken A LOT of classes and she is the worst teacher I've ever had and this was probably on of my worst experiences in any class. I wouldn't even recommend her to my worst enemy.
