I learned more from this prof then any other. common case of majority of students ignorant of social issues such as "white privledge" and this new awarness creates an uncomfortable atmosphere especially since this new knowledge is facilitated by a minority instuctor. she requiers the students to critically think and become aware of these real issue

Professor asks for participation then criticizes student for his/her answer. Actually yelled at one student in our class. Does not care about grades and actually gave everyone an extra 25 points on one exam because the test was so hard and irrelevant to what was discussed in class. I really did NOT learn anything in this class. HORRIBLE-DO NOT TAKE

It's difficult to comment on this class. Would I recommend her? Definitely. This was one of the easiest A's I've ever received, but at the same time, I learned more from her than any of my other professors. She just really makes you aware of whats going on in society! Everyone should take this class

very nice lady who cares about education, but so unorganized. does not go by schedule, cancled class without notice several times, talks about white males as if we all still wish to enslave her and all african americans today. didn't learn a thing! contradicts herself very often She needs to retire
