Avoid Ms. Fonville if at all possible. She talks to you like you are child and do not understand even the simplest things. She assigns essays and takes points off of them without telling you why, same with tests. She does not remind you of assignments over breaks and starts class early when you already have the 8 o'clock class.

Avoid this teacher at all costs!She teaches by reading out of the book. She takes points off tests without telling you why she did. That alone should get her fired as a teacher. Long term essays (thats right essays in a computer class) are never reminded even through holidays. This is not a teacher I want anyone to have.

Awesome teacher, Fonville knows what she's talking about. Patient with my lack of skills and computer knowledge. Easy, but time consuming class. Willing to slow down and explain. Learned a lot and probably would take her again.

I agree with the rest of you, she is an awful teacher and overall sad human being. She seemed very rude to some students and very polite to others. Ignores you when you have questions. Seems unstable. Avoid if you can. Makes the class more challenging than it actually is.

Not a hard class but she is just confusing and not clear on what she wants to be done. You need to make sure you keep track of your work and what you turn in, because she will not, and give 0's. Can be rude sometimes, and talks down to some students. I can't believe she's still teaching. Unprofessional and rude. Pick a different teacher if possible

Mrs. Fonville is not an assett to LSCC. She holds a very high standard for her students, but is unable to attain it herself. She is extremely disorganized & I would consider her spiteful & bitter. Although I got an A+ in her class, I did notice that she does go out of her way to make sure as few of her students do well as possible.

This teacher is extremely unclear, disorganized, and she really makes the material way more complicated than it needs to be. She is extremely strict (which isn't a bad thing), but she also isn't able to hold herself to her own standards that she puts forth for her students.
