Miss Nathan was my best teacher at SWC. Lectures are really interesting and she actually teaches you useful information. She is super clear about what she expects from you. We had a syllabus quiz, midterm, final and 2 major speeches that you have to research. Its easy to do well if you follow directions and study hard for the tests.

Ms. Nathan is an amazing teacher! Her class is spot on and easy as long as you attend class, pay attention to lecture and read. She only has three tests (syllabus quiz, midterm, final). Her lectures are interesting and she gives real life examples. She tells us a lot about herself in her lectures. She's awesome! Her grading is self explanatory.

Professor Nathan was a Very kooky with her personality... I enjoyed her class. and she made this class very easy to understand. My grade slacked just because the course was fast track and I wasn't prepared for the fast paced lectures. I WOULD RECOMMEND PROFESSOR NATHAN TO FUTURE COMM STUDENTS !!!

Professor Nathan is the best teacher i have had at SWC. Her lectures were always fun to participate in and opened up my eyes on how to improve my overall communication skills. Her tests are easy if you do the reading. Also was always willing to help me after class if i needed clarification. Be warned not a class for slackers. She is AWSOME!!!

This has been one of my favorite classes. Her lectures seem more like discussions, as she highly encourages us to share personal experiences that relate to certain concepts. To some it may seem like she talks too much about her personal life, but it all relates to the lessons. She's very sweet and grades fairly. I've learned so much from her

I am not going to lie, she is a good teacher. She seems nervous often, but that makes you feel good because you know you wont be the only nervous person when you do your presentation. There is a fair amount of work required but if you keep up with assignments you will be OK. Fair grader.

She is great. Don't listen to the poor reviews from yerts ago. This is like any other class and yes, you'll have a few speeches to make. Very fun listening to her as well as your peers. I got an A in fast track! She's also cute if thats what you're looking for.

Communication with Prof. Nathan is FUN! Her lectures were interesting. You'll never get bored with her. Speaking in front of the class can be scary but she makes it fun. This is the best class I took so far! Tests were easy! You just have to study. You get 2 major presentations and a couple of small presentations. EASY A!! Highly recommended!!!!

She's very nice as well as personable. In the beginning, it appears to be a lightweight class. Don't be fooled, just do all your work and study from the textbook (for midterms). Our class discussions were ALWAYS fun. I recommend her to those who want something fun as well as challenging.

excellent teacher. she made class interesting with real life examples and involves the students in discussions so its not just three hours of lecture. the class made me think about a lot of things about myself and the way i deal with people. i learned a lot of skills that have helped me make my relationships better.
