Carolyn is an absolute gem. She's extremely knowledgeable in her field and can help you with virtually any program issue. Her classes are not usually lecture heavy but rather she lets you work hands on with the given software. The given assignments and grading rubrics are clear. With that, you have to work to earn a good grade. Wonderful Professor.

Carolyn is a good Graphic Design teacher. She is very particular about certain behaviors and as such ends up not liking some of her students. She will still try to teach them, but there is an obvious rift there. Her # 1 pet-peeve in class: Being disrespectful #2 is bringing food and drink into the Mac Lab.

So helpful and does everything in her power to help you understand the subject matter. Sometimes her assignments are tough but that makes you learn more by having to ask questions and work harder to learn. She fantastic. Learn from her she knows what she is talking about. Take her little suggestions even if they seem minor they will help.

If you are spending mommy and daddy's money, looking for an easy mindless way to fill an art credit, and don't mind the peusdo teacher as friend relationship then this is the class for you. It was without a doubt the worst class of my freshman year.

I didn't like this professor at all. I didn't think she was competent (at least not with the material she taught in this class) or engaging. It was hard for me to go to class because our assignments were inane and I found the course to be a waste of time. If you know the color wheel, I wouldn't recommend taking this class with Carolyn.

I don't know what the other person was talking about. It's not that she's unclear, so much as she wants you to figure it out for yourself. Carolyn is fabulous. She knows what she's talking about, and is extremely helpful. She may be kind of hard, but at least you'll know what to expect in the real world!
