Carrie is an excellent teacher who cares about her students. I disagree with past comments made about her. The philosophy talked about in class was always related back to Hinduisma and Indian religion. Perhaps the class members were just too dense to understand. If you do not understand a concept, Carrie is more than willing to help.

Comment:
For Temple, Icon and Deity in India. An intro to RELST course w/o pre-reqs. I expected it to be a lot of general info about India, especially Hinduism, but it was more like a course on Indian philosophy. She can be unclear and indecisive. Several classes I wondered what anything had to do w/ India. Strict attendance policy. Wouldn't recommend.

Carrie has tremendous respect for her students. She really cares about what she does. She is one of the best professors that I've ever had. She truly puts other professors to shame. I hope that her teaching methods catch on to others. Good luck Carrie!

One of the best profs i've had. She knows what she is talking about and can explain it to you in a nice clear way. I'd take any class she teaches.
