Kathy is an amazing prof. She is such a sweetheart and cares about your success. The class is structured in a way that if you just take notes and study you'll do great. I highly highly recommend her, taking bio with her this semester was a treat.

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Kathi. She's a wonderful professor and adviser who genuinely cares about her students and will do what she can to help you succeed. No one I've ever spoken to has ever said anything bad about her. Take her if you can.

Comment:

Professor Knight is great! The class is difficult, but if you take notes and study for the tests, you will pass. She also conducts labs one day a week, which helps reinforce what is in her notes. I took pics of the boards once her notes were written, that way I was sure not to have missed anything. I would definitely take her class again.

Take all the notes she writes on the board. There is 6 labs and you have to be there because there a attendance grade. All the answers to the lab quizzes are what she writes on the board after labs. The exam questions are exactly what she says to study on the study guide. You get a 10min break each class, and you can leave if you finish early.

Professor Knight is awesome! Her class is so easy and she makes everything so clear. Literally take notes and you'll do fine. Don't buy the textbook though, she doesn't require it, even though Bucks does. She is very knowledgeable in her field.

5 tests & 3 lab quizzes. This class requires u to memorize ur notes/study guide. Start memorizing a week before the test and you'll get an A or a B depends on how many times u read/memorize ur notes! Also questions for labs are given. Doesn't require memorization like the tests! It's easy. Just read the lab questions 4-5 times and you'll get an A

She was great! Kind and cared for her students, she does talk at you and its a lot of note taking. Also, you have to have great memory because the notes are just like test and there is a lot to remember. If you just study and pay attention you will pass.

I actually looked her up on here and decided to take her based on the positive reviews. I have to say, I was not disappointed. Very laid-back, can be hilarious at times. As far as the course goes, you do not need to purchase the textbook, but she writes all of the notes on the board. I got C's on every test and still ended up with a B. ATTENDANCE!!

She gives you everything you need for the test. If you are a good note taker, (she gives you the notes on the board) and you put the time in to study, you will pass with good grades. She will take any time you need to answer questions and help you! Would love to take her again!

She is devoted to the students, she is always worrying if her students did understand her or not. She is very warm and welcoming for me at least. One down side is that you have to WRITE hell a lot, but man is it worth it. Just study whatever she writes in class and paper she handouts. You score A easily.

Professor Knight is a very active professor who cares about her students. She has some really awesome stories both about Science and random subjects. I took her Intro to Environmental Science class and had a lot of fun. There was a lot of hands on learning outside of the classroom to help keep us engaged.

prof knight is an awesome teacher. Come to class, take notes, and study review sheet for test and this will get you an easy A. She is also very understanding if you have an emergency and can't make class. I wouldn't buy the textbook though. I didn't use mine at all. she makes her own tests from her notes not the textbook. Highly recommend her!!

I highly reccommend this teacher. I am not a strong student when it comes to bio but I got an A in her class. All you have to do is show up to class, take the notes, maybe make some flashcards for yourself to study from and you and pass the class with an A. Love Kathy! She is the nicest most approachable woman when you need to ask her a question/ need help. She isn't intimidating like some teachers, she just reminds me of a really nice mom. Her class isn't too hard..She does a review the day before a class which helps a lot!

I am no way good at science & thought that BIO 1 would give me a hard time at a college level but Prof. Knight is just awesome, I got a B in the class (I could have gotten an A if I tried harder). She cares about her students and does anything she can to help you. Her tests are easy(she gives a great review sheet) I defiantly & highly recommend her
