Comment:

This is the first math class that I have ever enjoyed going to. Werner teaches the material very well and is very patient if you do not understand it. The notes/lecture from class are so helpful and informative. Her sense of humor makes the class much more enjoyable as well. Overall, best math teacher I have ever had.

Prof. Werner is very understanding and helpful. She gives difficult homework and WebWork, but super easy exams and quizzes. Also encourages calculator use, unlike some Allegheny Professors. She explains material well in class and in office hours. She's also very understanding with grading. I'm for sure taking her for Math 158 next semester!

Werner is a wonderful professor. Her lectures and notes are very clear. I worked very hard and went to office hours every week with questions about the homework. Tests are challenging and a bit too long for the amount of time given, but they are fair. 205 is tough, but I did well with Werner's help. She is very kind and helpful.

I love Professor Warner. She is the best ever. She is extremely helpful and loves people who go see her in her office hours. She made calc 2 easy to understand. I highly recommend taking her. She goes over so many examples and hw problems. Math was my favorite class because of her. Has a very dry sense of humor too which makes it all better!

Best math teacher ever. Keep in mind I love math, but she made the class interesting. Theres a quiz every week but theyre easy. If you do the daily homework every single day youll succeed in her class. She allows calculators and does not include unexpected ?s on her exams. I definitely suggest her over the other calc professors.

her class notes are very helpful and easy to follow & note. u will do fine as long as u put effort into the HW and find a good study buddy...most of question on tests are in same format as on the handed-in HW, but just a litte more difficut.

I found her kind of creepy. I just couldn't concentrate when I was staring at her in amusement. Tests and homework are OK, but the point system on the tests is inflated and designed for you to miss points. But i think all math tests are like that. Overall, not bad, i would take her again if i had to.

class gets pretty boring sometimes, make sure you drink coffee if you have her in the morning. her dry humor can be very funny at times. explanations are great and understandable.

Professor Werner is extremely helpful and uses simple, yet effective explanations and examples to make sure everyone gets the point. She never makes you feel stupid, and is just very helpful. I took her Shape of Space freshman seminar and it was a piece of cake.
