Two years ago this professor allowed me to attend a few choice sessions of his grad course w/out being enrolled. I've taken nearly all the English professors and can honestly say that Claybough has been the most helpful for my writing. He is laid back in class but grades hard. He's written a bunch of essays and books (go read them) but is a humble and totally hot guy. I can't wait to take him in 366!

I really don't like English but Claybough tries hard to make it interesting and relevant by letting you choose readings, paper topics, etc. He seems sort of funloving and laidback but he's real serious about teaching and grading. He's also a cool guy. How many teachers hike 600 miles in a summer?

He's a nice guy, kind of still a student at heart but doesnt mean anything bad by it. Deff too hard of a grader, will give help if you ask for it, otherwise no. His stories are hillarious!! Take this class if you can... you just better be able to write! haha!
