Will ask for you opinion to then tell you that your opinion is wrong. Rates like an English professor when it comes to your essays yet cant stop saying, "Umm", every like 20 seconds.

She doesn't do PPT, she only lectures and writes out brief outlines on the board. Exams are multiple choice and 2 short answer. She is a TOUGH grader when it comes to the short answer. Its either you get a 100% or not. Most of the class got F's the first exam because she nearly gave zeros on the short answers. I got a B, but wouldn't take her again

I took her for the summer intersession. She's honestly a really great professor, I learned a lot of important life lessons as well as criminology lessons. Her lectures are pretty organized. There's a few videos we get to watch, must take notes so no sleeping (but don't worry, they're not boring videos at all) Highly recommend

I took Casey for the winter, criminology. The class was super easy i ended with an A. You dont really need to buy a book at all, just write down what she writes down on the board, because that will be on the test. Overall best teacher I have taken, I learned a lot from Casey in sociology/criminology. This class is really an easy A :)

Shes a pretty great professor I really enjoyed her. I had her for two classes and they had the same basic format midterm and final 1 project and 4 group discussions. NO HOMEWORK only studying If you participate and try to care she will bump up your grade. Not very personal but still a great class.

This professor is alright, if you are truly interested in this subject and you want to have big class discussions avoid this professor. She takes no time to get students involved, shows up 10 mins late everyday, talks in monotone for 3 hrs and occasionally she cracks a joke but no one laughs because nobody is awake, none the less this class is easy

she's nice but she talks very fast in the lessons and you need to write fast. She looks intimidating but she's nice. She sometimes writes on the board she is more in talking than writing on the board. She gives the essays before the exam. 1 midterm and final and 1 project. Use the textbook in the finals you're gonna need it

Really good professor, writes lecture outline on board and discusses each points. Attendance is mandatory in order to get good notes. Only two exams, a midterm and a final which should be easy only if you take great notes which might be hard since she goes kind of fast. Would recommend to an A or B average student.

She would write the outline of the lecture on the board and she would just start talking point after point. Once in awhile, students would insert a comment here or there, but most of the time, she is going by super fast and it's hard to follow. if you miss one class, it takes a bit to catch up. It helps she gives the essay question before the exam.

Tests based 75% lectures, 25% on book. Study guides are a little vague so make sure you attend class. Got 98% on the final paper, but still B...few assignments don't miss any. Grade based on 2 tests, final paper, and 4 in class group project. The only extra credit is based on attendance. She is tough on grading email essays and paper before hand.

Extremely dull teaching and she occasionally throws in a joke. BUT, a very very great professor. I still remember the material that was taught from months ago. TAKE NOTES, you dont even need the book. JUST TAKE ALL THE NOTES. do the study guide. A. If you are reading this professor Thank you, your discussions were the most enjoyable part of class

She could be a little less monotunous and blan and could add a little bit of cheer in her teching. I took her several times and had to drop out. She never changed. Please be a little happier and not act as if you're forced to be there

She was a pretty easy prof. Took her for Soc1 I got an A in the class, know the study guide and take really good notes, and you'll do fine. She does lecture most of class, but it's interesting so it kept me entertained. I thought she was a good prof.

I took her for a winter course. It was pretty brutal, crammed into 6 weeks. She lectures a lot, and it can get boring. However, go to class, most of the notes are on the test. We had 2 tests, 1 paper, no homework, and 4 group assignment. Just studying your notes and you'll do fine. She is pretty great at teaching.

I really liked her. She has a different purse/bag almost everyday. Pay attention in class and take good notes and you should do fine. The work isn't hard, 4 group discussions, midterm & final, and one project. They're not hard to do if you put effort into it. I enjoyed her class, and I'd take her again if I take another sociology class.

The class was fairly easy. For the first exam she didn't really give us all the stuff on our study guide so I got a D but I did very well on my community report for using a place that wasn't on her list and I received a B in her class. Just show up everyday so she wont mark off participation.
