Can't believe he remembered me after 8 years! Keeps a list of the students in every class he's had. What a memory! Classes were very interesting and he's such a nice person too. Genuinely interested in YOU.

recalled form casey's class how he heard his past protoge told him that "his work changed student's life..." in turn casey say that changed his own life also. Casey's classes changed mine too. His expectation from students are both demanding and challenging, but just like all things in life, the more you involved, the more you are going to receive.

A very intelligent, caring, committed professor. Challenges you to learn. Sometimes the course gets a little overwhelming. Prof. Sokol rarely works with simple notions. Most of his ideas and learning materials are quite complex. At the same time, he always endeavors to make things fun.

I can see how he's not for everyone..but Casey's brilliant. He's just different. Very knowledgeable, intelligent, and caring. Responds to emails very quickly. He approaches topics from some very bent, but creative angles. Recommended! But be prepared to open your mind and work damn hard!
