A lot of homework but the homework isn't too challenging and a lot of it can be found online from quizlet. For her tests she allows you to use a cheat sheet which makes them very easy. She also is able to reach, she responds fast, and loves to meet with students to assist them.

Very uncompassionate. Doesn't care about students. States she can't do something when school policy states she can, she is horrible and I don't recommend her to anybody

You get a cheat sheet which makes up for her lack of teaching. It would have been helpful for test reviews to be given back BEFORE the test though. She doesn't round grades, even if .1 away. It was an okay class, not very hard... I just wish she was more helpful.

Dr. Paslick was tough, but that's because I had to take this course as a hybrid. There were quizzes and review sheets every week and 5 exams! When we showed up on lab days she answered all of our questions and helped us answer the worksheets. I probably would have enjoyed her more if I attended an actual lecture. I give her a B.

Our labs were just worksheets, and she wouldn't teach you, you were expected to teach yourself the material. She didn't give us any notes, all she did was hand us worksheets and expect us to do it. We were given a cheat sheet for the test, but the study guides weren't helpful towards the test.

Although it was an online class, Dr. Paslick was very available to us students. Her grading and explanations were crystal clear, and the information was very interesting. She interacted with us a lot through Eagle, and I would recommend that anyone take her class. To those who say the class is hard: this is college, get used to it.

Awful. Unforgiving. Does a decent job of organizing lectures, but labs are just work sheets. Doesn't give graded test reviews back until AFTER the test, and doesn't help correct labs. Do not take with her.

You can buy the book & teach yourself. She does not lecture at all even though her syllabus says that she does. (even some of her online modules don't have any). She's not clear on what she expects from you. She's highly competent on the material, she's nice, but her teaching skills need work. if you ask for help, she will help but she's not clear.

Hard to stay awake, dry lectures. Labs are just worksheets. Tests are unneedingly tough, and it seems like even when you study and fill out the crib sheet, none of the info is used on the test. She's nice enough, but she isn't approachable. I got a 64 on a test and asked her about it, and she just gave me the key, and said nothing more. DO NOT TAKE

This class is not hard, just make sure you read the book and think critically about the topics. Her online questions feedback can be a bit off topic and wandering, but this does not detract from your ability to learn from the class. Simply make sure you make an effort, do the assignments, quizzes, and questions, and you'll do great!

She is very boring. All she does is lecture for 6 pages of notes and then she gives out 2 worksheets and at the end of every chapter is a lab. I always feel like I am doing well on the tests and find out I am doing worse. She doesn't always give you all the info you need for a test.

Looking at the previous ratings I was very hesitant to take this class but my experience was very different. The class was completely online and all of the homework and quizzes were right out of the book, her expectations are very clear and she is quite helpful, I never had a problem getting in touch with her and I highly recommend this class

I would recommend you AVOID this class. Even went you take notes, do all labs, homework and reread chapters you will never be successful. I left my first test feeling confident after studying like crazy and received a D then did not get to see my test for 2 weeks. This teacher is lazy and impossible to please.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO! I am an A/B student and am about to fail her class. I have asked for help & she hasn't done a thing. She doesn't respond to questions or e-mails at all. This class is worthless. Extremely unclear on what she expects! This class is going to screw my GPA, waste of a semester, & waste of $350 for taking it!

OMG...the hardest class I ever took. Imaginge, a class about rocks on planets that no one has ever been to! Tree in the forest concept: Do those rocks even exist? I wish that I had taken Astrology of the Solar System!

Very rude with grading comments. Extremely detailed quizzes. Took this class online. Very clear and organized rubric - but VERY demanding and harsh grading!!
