She is awful. She takes extremely long to "explain" things, but instructions are still unclear. She makes things more difficult than they need to be, and struggles to answer questions. She is unorganized and forgetful. Overall, this class was a waste of time, and I did not learn anything new in this class.

She seems like a good person, not a great teacher. Very disorganized and talks about things that do not relate to class content. Contradicts herself which makes the material harder. I can honestly say I know more about her personal life and various stories than I do about English. Required to go to the writing center, and papers are complicated

Taber is a great professor. She really loves her students and expresses that often. Papers are extremely easy. I'd say class is mandatory because she does group peer edits on papers all the time and you turn those in with your final papers. Quizzes every week on vocab words which aren't hard at all. She's a great girl!

Great teacher! She goes over each essay in depth and her directions are very clear. I would recommend her for any student. Also, we get out of class early a lot, and she's good at communicating with students through blackboard announcements. Weekly quizzes are also extremely easy.

Cassie comes off like she is very tough, but the class is fairly easy. Although she isn't the friendliest person, I would definitely recommend her for ENG101. She gives you plenty of time to do your papers, she is very clear about what she expects, and you do not take any exams for this class.

She is very fun and nice! Your average english class. Didn't have to buy any books for it, or read any! Just wrote a few papers, though they were pretty tough. She goes over every paper in depth with the class. Loved her!

Prof. Taber was fairly easy, but she was a hard grader for the essays. Class was very easy. She is very nice to her students and funny at some points, but gets mad when no one participates.. No tests only weekly 5 point quizes and no final which was great. Would recommend her :)

Worst Teacher I have ever had. She never "taught" she just splits you into groups every class. If you asked a question about a paper she would just move around the question without answering it. Avoid her if possible.

Cassie is an awesome professor. She is so funny! She seems passionate about what she does, and is always extremely helpful. Check your email before class though, because usually when she cancels class, it is like a half hour before class starts. i would recommend her!

She's an ok teacher. Since my interest in english is pretty low, I didn't enjoy the class. The papers are slightly confusing, but she's defiantly willing to help with them. She does bring her personal problems to the class way to much.

Taber is extremely nice and really cares that you do well in her class. She often allowed extra help and time for assignments for the people that struggled in her class. But.. she airs out a lot of her personal problems in class and is extremely moody. Get on her good side and you'll be fine.

I thought she was an OK prof. Mandatory class and boring, but she grades fair and does allow you to fix papers. Sometimes gets a bit of an attitude and thinks shes never wrong but for the most part she was ok and the papers were't too bad. EASY quizes!

Best teacher I've had by far at CMU! She really wants her students to succeed. Go to class, you'll enjoy it! She's hilarious!100% RECOMMENDED!
