Dr. Fosl is amazing! I loved this class and learned so much. Be prepared to work, this isn't grade school. Show some interest in the subject, it counts just as much as attendance. Dr. Fosl is more than willing to help a student who needs it but puts up with very few excuses so dedicate yourself! I recommend that everyone take a class with Dr. Fosl.

Really easier grader (I don't think she read our final papers), but to get that A be prepared to suffer. She is annoyed by most of her students, is completely disorganized, and openly admits she grades fairly randomly. If you are new to Women's Studies, please do not assume everyone is like her.

Everything I have heard about her is true. She praised students who offered worthless contributions to class discussions based on how "activist" they are and she does make you feel like your opinions are worth anything especialyl if you do not think the way she does about a particular text.

VERY EXTREME FEMENIST. Not that there's anything wrong with that...but if you don't agree with her, you might find yourself offended at times. The classwork is easy, but you MUST go to class.

This was the first teacher in my life that gave me a D on a paper. She was more than willing to help me improve on my writing skills. I loved the class and thank her for helping me improve my writing skills.
