This class is very fundamental I took Mrs. Felton for sociology of the family. She does have high expectations of her students, however if you do the work and study you should not fail. This class is very lecture heavy but there is always room for open discussion. If you have to take a social science for your major I would suggest this class.

Be prepared to talk. Ms. Felton is one of the most caring teachers I have ever had. She is willing to go above and beyond to help her students understand the material. She loves hearing new perspectives and genuinely cares about her students individual situations and will work with you to help solve any problems that are within her power. Love her

Do not take her for an online class. She says in her syllabus that she will send emails on a regular basis, but through this last semester I have not received 1 email from her that was not a response to ones that i have answered her. Although she does answer quickly when you do reach out. Only 4 assignments and 4 tests the whole semester, that's it

Take her class ASAP! The most amazing professor I have ever had. Her assignments are very easy and the tests are just mainly focused on definitions. It is very lecture heavy but, she does not make it boring. I enjoyed them and she made them very interesting.

Ms. Felton is passionate about the subject. She puts the material in a realistic view. Class is easy, but you must attend. Expect to participate in class and have a lot of writing. Book is mandatory and you will need to reach the chapters before class. Take notes and you'll do fine. Definitely an easy A.

She was amazing and hilarious. She is engaging and willing to answer any question you may have. She is very clear and discussion oriented and she is-by far-the best teacher I've ever had.

Mrs. Felton is a great lecturer and gets her point across while allowing the class to discuss the topic. Her classes are enjoyable, but her tests and homework assignments can be a bit tough if you aren't a good writer.

Mrs. Felton is the absolute best! She is not one of those teachers that allows you to get away with not doing anything. You have to come to class, participate, and do the homework assignments and pass the tests. The tests are a bit hard because she requires you to think outside the box and write everything in your own words and go into detail.

Mrs. Felton is hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. She makes her lectures relatable and funny. A massive part of her courses deal with open discussions so participation is key to passing. She is extremely intelligent and is more than willing to help you out when you need it. She notices hard work. She was born to teach.

What can you say about someone who is born to teach. Outstanding, dedicated, honest, kind describes Mrs. Felton. If you didn't get anything out her class then it was You sorry! Mrs. Felton expects 100% and gives 110% from her students. She really cares that you learn the material, by having class discussions. I definitely recommend her classes!!!

This is a good teacher with very hard tests! She has 4 papers and 4 tests throughout the class and offers no extra credit. I received A's and B's on all four papers and D's and F's on all four tests. Tests are fill in the blank and you must literally quote the book. Skip this one if possible.

Really easy going, what I loved the most about her is that she is very understanding if you have work, or kids and will work with you. Her assignments were EASY I dont know why so many people complained I received an A and I never read the book, and assignments would only take me like 2 days.

Be expected to really know how to articulate your understanding on this material. Instructor is not responsive with requests for feedback to improve yourself. I was able to achieve a B only because I aced the test. Written assignments I got C's.

She was unhelpful and really late with her grading of online submitted work, mind you it's an all online class. She does not respond to emails right away. You have to send them more than once to receive a response, and she does not apologize for making you wait, which results in delaying you schoolwork days. She does not value online students time.
