i always struggle in maths alot she's always there to help, she explains the lesson pretty well, she makes you sit in groups of 4 so if you don't understand you have 3 others to explain it to you & help each other! she brings in daily life uses for the math we learn. do all your homework & you'll pass in class. i passed class first time around.

She is a fine professor. All you have to do is show up, do your homework and mildly pay attention to pass. Her tests are kind of hard because they're very vocabulary based. She's a nice person. Just do your work. The math problems are all online which is good because you don't have to get a textbook, but there are a lot of problems in connect math.

Professor Griffen is the best math professor I've ever had! She makes class a lot of fun and her teaching style is great. She puts you into groups the entire semester which helps a lot because she lets you and your group members learn from each other. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities and explains things very well.

I loved Professor Griffin! I've never been good at math but I've excelled in her class. Yes, there is tons of homework due each week, and the tests can be hard. But if you do your homework and come to class you'll pass easily. She puts everyone into groups which helps a lot. I would retake her for all of my further math classes!

Worst teacher I have ever had. Her tests were extremely difficult and very vocab based which is ridiculous for a math class. Had over 200 math problems due each week. Makes you work in a group and ask each other questions instead of her. She was very rude and passive aggressive if you showed up with homework not done. Do NOT recommend her.

She is super clear about everything and how it should be done. If there is a due date and it is that night she will email you reminding you that you still have to do that (but don't depend on it! It's just nice!) There are a lot of exams but they are very easy if you pay any attention at all in the course. 5-6 E.C. opportunities as well!

I have always struggled with math until I had Professor Griffin, she is one of the most caring people I have ever met. Took both my math courses from her. I would take any class she taught. She is one of a kind!

Basically, you need to set aside a couple hours every day to do the work. Follow her advice from the beginning of class: go through her notes first, watch her videos where she explains concepts and problems, watch other videos provided, and complete the paper homework first before completing the online portions. Take the quizzes and tests on-time.

If you even remotely struggle in math, DO NOT take this professor. I had over 15 hours of homework put into ConnectMath homework alone every single week. If you make a minor mistake in a problem you will be awarded absolutely NO points. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR.

This professor is the best one I've had for math. She put you into groups so not only did you have her to help you, you also had your group mates. Of the four in our group, only two of us showed consistently. But the help of that ONE other person helped a lot. Not only that, but she explained things in a way that made complete sense. 10/10

She was honestly awful. Had surgery and she made everything available to me literally the day before. So I had to do 2 weeks worth of homework in one night. She rarely gives out full extra credit and she assigns over 200 math problems a week.

Cathy is very outgoing and will tell you exactly what you need to know for the tests. The reviews are exactly like the tests and very clear. She cares a lot about students and wants you to do well. I would definitely recommend her for a math teacher!

In her class she loved to put you in groups and that was your group for the semester to help you out with quizzes but she does have her favorites and if she doesn't like you she wont help you I personally would never have her again she made me feel like math was my worst subject if you love homework (80 problems a night) Good Luck

If you don't like tons of homework, I wouldn't recommend her. The normal for just one section is over 40 problems and you have up to 3 sections to do for the next class period. Plus you have to write out ALL of it. The quizzes are nice because you can work with other groups to finish them. However her grading is sometimes ridiculous.
