She knows her stuff, and she certainly cares. But most of your grade lies in 3 exams, if you tank one of those you're just screwed. She's also boring as all hell sadly. Also I don't know what people are talking about, the quizzes were NOT group quizzes for our class.

Had her for Managerial Accounting and I thought she was a pretty good teacher. I see how some people do not like her teaching style but it worked for me. Do the assignments, read a bit, and follow her lectures. She can be very dry, but she's not that bad.

Boring talker who can put you to sleep, but if you actually listen to what she's saying, you will learn. Make sure to read material before you come to class. Read syllabus thoroughly. Can be hard if you don't try and slack off.

Good teacher anyone complaining obviously isn't an accounting major or did all the work you can't expect to show up for class and get an A accounting is a tuff subject and I love it and her as my teacher

Very Knowledgable but when it comes to actual teaching she might be the worst professor at St.Rose. She is unable to translate "Accounting Language" to common language. My advise would be to read the book and not even bother with her slides. Good Luck...

Her classes are awful. She reads off a powerpoint. She will not go through an actual problem in detail. Her exams r worse, gives no review. Expects u to memorize 3 chps worth of specific problems, then picks 4 for exam. I no longer enjoy ACC w/ her & I have to take 2 more of her classes. Nice lady but not looking for nice, Im looking to learn

She is a great teacher and I had her for 3 semesters. The class gets boring but she knows a lot. Has an answer for every question. The tests aren't too bad and the quizzes are easy and taken in groups. Class is moderate so you can miss it but make sure you read slide and textbook. Not Bad so you won't fail.

Once you get used to the format of her classes, it gets easier. The lectures are pretty boring, but she knows a lot about the subject and if you do the wiley plus, then it makes it a lot easier to get a good grade.

Mrs. Katagiri will help you no matter what. Yes, sometimes the class is hard to follow because it is a lecture but if you do the homework you should have no problem with the class. She's a really nice lady and if you're serious about accounting I highly recommend taking her classes.

Professor Karagiri is overall a good professor. Yes, her lectures are boring and hard to follow, but she does go over everything afterwards and makes it clear. 122 is def. easier to take with her. She is very VERY helpful, and just wants her students to do well, ask her for help..and ull get it!

Her class is very boring but she will take the time to help you if you do have any questions. The material can be hard but all the tests are graded on a curve and quizzes are done with a partner as well as open-book during class time. You can drop your lowest quiz grade too.
