Comment:

Professor Keohane was a very nice professor that is very helpful when writing papers. I normally hate writing but I was able to get through this class with little to no trouble. She left our class toward the end of the year due to family troubles and we were given a new professor but I enjoyed the time that I had with her.

Is not the best with helping. If you have a question she will answer it but the answer is very vague and doesn't seem to help. She grades attendance. Be prepared to buy her book because you will need it for upcoming assignments. She will make you buy the little seagull book but you never use it

Prof. Keohane is a nice woman, but oh God is she boring. She is the most awkward teacher I have ever had as well. She makes the class feel very uncomfortable at times just due to her personality. Overall, I would say the class is what you make of it. If you are willing to do the work, it will work out in your favor.

There is a lot of work to this class, but it is not difficult. She is not a hard grader either. If you do the work you will definitely pass. I took this as a hybrid course and every week we had two assignments and an online activity. There is a midterm and final participation log and we also had online quizzes. She is caring for her students.

Professor Keohane is a good professor who teaches you how to be a better writer. Lectures are boring and she can become awkward at times but overall shows her students kindness and respect. Writing conferences get you out of class for a week but help you write your big papers correctly for a solid grade. I recommend Professor Keohane

HATED this class. she's polite bt not actually that nice. if you say a wrong answer she won't clearly correct you or explain it, she's unclear. she assigns SO much reading and homework EVERY CLASS, there's never any breaks even if we have quizzes. we do an essay + 4 long readings every day that all say the same thing and we barely learn in class.

Professor Keohane is super sweet and extremely helpful. Expect a whole lot of homework(about two 2 pagers a week), 4 essays (ranging from 3-6 pages) and a few peer reviews for every paper. I know this sounds like a lot but she actually taught me how to write a paper and I do not regret all the work I did because I can write A papers now.

I think she is a great professor . She is very helpful and really knowledgable with writing . I enjoyed her class very very much and she is so compassionate and understanding . I really want to take her for my next writing class . I recommend her if you have a tough time with writing . She is so helpful and wants everyone to pass . She's the best !

DONT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!! She gives out so much work and she is never clear on what the work is. If you can switch out of her class do it before you regret taking her class, there are professors out there who are ten times better. She talks the entire class and her voice is very boring and monotone. This class was terrible.

I had this professor for English and she was possibly the most boring woman I have ever encountered. Her voice is flat and she talks the whole time while trying to make jokes that no one laughs at but herself. She makes me feel awkward and uncomfortable so I try to avoid eye contact with her. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS.

Ok this class is an requirement, so I had no choice. She is a bit awkward, but is extremely intelligent. I have become a better writer, because of her class. She really helps you, and grade your work kind of harshly. She wants the best from her students. Her lesson choices are really interesting; the papers were fun to write.
