Really good teacher, Go to class, she gives a lot of examples and videos but they will be useful when you refer to them on her exams. Buy the textbook! and read it, it really reflects and follows her lectures. The textbook will be covered on her exams. Her exams are multiple choice and short answers, but they aren't brutal. Would recommend :)

This woman is such a lovely person! She cares enough about her students to memorize everyone's names and always asks how the class is finding everything. The textbook was definitely essential because the tests include it as well. The only criticism I have for her is that her slides are very vague so you need to show up. Otherwise, solid choice!

During lectures she's boring, but she actually cares about the students. She provides many examples and videos which make it easier to remember the material. Midterms and exams are straight forward and fair. The textbook was an easy read. Study slides and textbook and you'll ace it.

Plowright was an amazing and down to earth prof! She lives what she teaches and has so many real life examples and funny stories and films to support her lectures. Get ready to re read the book and the slides and rewatch the inclass movies to pass ! Learned so much in this class! Bless!

This course isn't a 'science' or 'social' psych course, consider it an experimental psychology course. Expect to understand experimental procedure in regards to all the course content. The course content is easily observed in real life examples, and I enjoyed seeing unique experimental designs using some cool animals. Course textbook is amazing: A+

Avoid her class at all costs. She's disorganized and does not speak well. It is painful to try and follow her lectures. You're better off just skipping her class and learning her posted lecture slides and reading the textbook. She blames things on her TA and doesn't mark the evaluations herself. Joke of a professor.

For 4th yr class, I expected so much more. She was extremely disorganized, taught (poorly) for only half the course and we presented for the rest. I could learn more about evolutionary psych from the bible. Her appearance was unprofessional. She didn't even understand the material. Very dissapointed in a class I was so greatly looking forward to.

her slides are not very clear and her lectures can be a bit slow. however i think she gets students to learn relatively useful information; its not just about memorizing theories.

-prof is a bit disorganized when it comes to in class notes. Sometimes expects students to come into class with knowledge of subject. Labs are challenging. Uses a lot of real life examples which are very helpful.

She knows her stuff quite well and tries her best to convey it well. Her notes are confusing unless you attend the lectures for clarification - definately not stand alone. Personal anecdotes and stories are funny and good illustrations.

Hard to teach a course with such dry material, but a colourful use of anecdotes and home video footage helps. A very considerate prof.
