Easy class. Only graded by a presentation and a final. He will give you a 100 for the presentation if you present. Final was short essay responses, but he goes over them before and basically gives you the answers.

My major is anthropology so I had him pretty much every semester (in addition to beg. kayaking). He is pretty laid back and friendly. His lectures are informative and very interesting.

He was marked as hot though I would disagree cause he is older. But other than that he is a really nice and easy to get along with teacher. The first two to three weeks of class he does take role so I would suggest that you go everyday. After that no role and it is not mandatory but I would go because sometimes there are assignments.

great instructor, knows his material very well. If you are someone who is outspoken about social issues he will definitely take notice in you. I recommend taking his course, showing up each and every day, and participating in class discussions.

There is no way you can gauge how hard this class is until it ends. It is very easy, but he will grade it as though it's not. Go to class.

Archeology and Anthropology were really fun classes. I learned a lot and found it all interesting. We made some stuff, that was cool. The classes required virtually no homework, no reading and nothing on quizzes or final that weren't expected and thoroughly covered before hand.
