Professor Sanderson is a GREAT intro to psych teacher. She teaches in a very laidback, understanding manner so that the material is not too overwhelming. Her tests are very straightforward. You just need to be able to understand the outline of the notes given in class. It was a very positive experience and one of my favorite classes!

Sanderson is awesome! She's a great lecturer. I'm embarrassed to say that I never noticed she talked fast until it was pointed out to me. We probably talk at the same speed! Her tests (at least for social) are very easy if you study the outlines she provides.

Professor Sanderson is incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about her work. She is extremely available outside of class and one of the most approachable profs on campus. Be warned that she lectures/talks extremely quickly, but always stops if someone has a question. One of the best professors on campus.

Amazing professor, her lectures are awesome and she justifies every theory with cool real-life examples that everyone relates to. She does cover material pretty quickly but she'll stop to answer any question you might have.

She keeps a large lecture class interesting and engaging, which is hard to do. Pretty much has the teaching of Psych 11 down to an art. I can't speak to her upper level courses, but Intro is popular for a reason.

Shortened Interterm class. Smart, witty, quick and entertaining to the last degree. Slightly sarcastic sometimes, but not arrogant at all. I listened so closely my jaw actually dropped. Makes very good use of handouts and media. Makes everything so much more accessible. Really puts the "interest" in "interesting". A better must-take than Sarat.

Fantastic teacher- creates interesting courses (health psych, close relationships), then keeps the actual class time interesting. Makes the material easy to understand with outlines and videos; uses lots of journal articles; will read over drafts of papers ahead of time; always very clear about expectations and comments on papers. Take her classes!
