Has to be one of the worst teachers I have ever had in all my years of school. She is extremely rude, harsh grader, gives out ridiculous task, and the attendance policy is way to strict. I would not recommend ever taking a class that she teaches.

My favorite professor at Slippery Rock. She will challenge you every day and make you pay attention. You learn the most useful and relevant information in her classes. All the tests are memorization and she tells you exactly what to study. Easy to get an A or B if you put in work.

Best teacher i ever had at SRU. She is very clear. Both midterm and final exam is a written exam. However she tells you exactly what too study and it is all in your notes. If you can't get a B in her class than your effort is terrible. She grades very quickly and will make every effort to critic your work. Shes very smart and show your respect.

I really enjoyed American Sport in the 21st Century. The papers and tests suck, but you learn a lot. The material is notes and educational. You really have to know your stuff in order to succeed in the class. She only prepares you for the future with SRU Sport Management. Attendance, Alertness, and Punctuality is a must. She likes to pick on people

I was leary of Diversity class at first, but ended up being the best class in the major. Completely different Dr. Higgs than in Research Methods. Don't miss a class because it can be a lot of fun if you participate!

Dr. Higgs is awesome. She really knows what she is talking about, and knows how to teach the notes to students while also holding a conversation with them about the topic. I had her for a T/Th hour and 15 minute class, but her style of teaching made it feel like it went faster then my 50 min classes
