This was a tough class with lots of subject matter to cover. It's apparent that Cecile knows her stuff, though. The textbook (available online or hard copy) went along seamlessly with her lecture. If you practice ALL of the questions that she assigns, you should have a good understanding of the information she tests on. (No points for homework.)

I went to every class. Usually I thought I understood what was being covered. Then I'd try the homework. Next class, I'd find out all what I got wrong. When I couldn't figure out the textbook, I resorted to googling. But... her tests were a fair reflection of what I could do, and she gave us many chances to make up grades.

She is awful. If you have previous experience in Accounting, you'll find Cecile extraordinary. If you are entry level, stay away. Really.... She never explains for entry level. NEVER. She is interested only in people who already know the stuff. She doesn't bother too much. And the tests are very, very difficult.

theres a lot of complaints here that she doesn't leave 'the slides' up very long, those slides are hw answers, you didn't DO the homework, thats isn't the rest of the classes problem, why should we sit and wait for you to copy it down. Cecile is fantastic IF you're willing to commit. its expected in the real world that you're prepared. shes great.

Pros: She is very knowlegbale, also very quick and responsible for students work. Cons: She lacks communications skills.The way she teach is not suitable for most students. Most important is she never teach how to learn and solve accounting problem, no emphases.

I learned this 100% by myself. Although she is knowledgbl, she is not good at teaching at all. She only like several stdents no smile to others.She doesn't treat you as an entry level.So many assignment everyday.No personal life if you follow. She didn't talk systemly.The test are not easy,you have to write enties,write whole statments in test.

i somehow got my b-'s but i learnd 99% of material on my own(book), the only reason you would go to class is to copy homework which shell try and screw u over by taking it off FAST, and thinks shes a CEO, frigin industry reject, if u get stuck with her,rely on book n ull be ok(make sure u do ALL homework b4 tests n check answers)

I found Cecile to be very hard and unhelpful. She never kept the slides on very long when taking up the homework and seemed to rush everything. It was hard to keep up. I always felt unprepared when studying for a test. I really had teach it myself.
