She's a great teacher although her lectures are a bit boring she really does try and helps you if you don't understand anything. You do have a lot of test though but they aren't so difficult.

She's not too bad. I would slack and show up late to class almost all the time and she wouldn't say anything. I didn't really pay attention in class and I was lost the entire time and she still passed me! She's very nice and sometimes understanding and if you have trouble on something she will help you! Boring lectures though

Great Professor, Prof. Schaffer is extremely helpful and cares about her students and does make sure you understand the lesson. Do not skip classes or you will be lost. She Does not gives extra credit, so DO NOT procrastinate. Do your Homework. and you will be good, Easy A.

Extremely helpful and encouraging. Always answers questions thoroughly. She really wants you to pass, just do your homework and you're good. Attendance wasn't mandatory, but if you're lost, it'll be your own fault.

Ok, now I know most people who get stuck in MAT011 are there because they need a "refresher" not because they don't understand. I am one of those people. The course is EXTREMELY boring. She'll start a new lesson with 3 minutes left of class & pressure you to finish quizzes so she can start the lesson. She's not very helpful, would not recommend

Prof . Schaffer was one of the worst math teachers I have had. She was very boring and didn't explain enough on topics. she also always would start a new lesson in class with only 10 minutes. she doesn't count homework for anything towards your grade, but assigns a lot of it, she also moves a little to quickly for me. ALC will be needed.

Prof. Schaffer is excellent! She is very clear during her lectures, grading criteria and expectations are also clear. Prof. Schaffer always offered extra help if a student needed it. Responds promptly to emails. I would not have passed this class without her help. Taking her for my next math class.

Very good teacher; she explains things very clearly and will review concepts when you ask. If anyone had a bad experience with her,(as another user said...) you probably weren't in classes, or didn't do work. I highly recomend her!
