Chantal is an extremely engaging lecturer, and really pushed me this semester to understand critical thinking and clear writing. She marks fairly hard, but the feedback is clear and she's always happy to explain and assist. To those taking IAT 103W with her- do the readings when they're assigned, or you won't be happy for the paper or the midterm!

An engaging lecturer, but passion can get in the way of clarity. While I was interested and excited to start on assignments, instructions were poorly delivered. With the amount of learning outcomes we must retain, it was difficult to remember and incorporate them into assignments. Please be more explicit about expectations.

Such a supportive and helpful prof. The midterm was easy and she really did her best to help us get through the paper and projects. She's just a fun person in general and lectures are always interesting!

One of the few profs at SFU who cares about you as a student, and this goes a long way in making your learning experience a great one! Needless to say, coming to office hours every week is key in getting a good grade. Very friendly and approachable, she's a lovely person.

One of the best prof I have met in SFU. She made clear notes and told you what exactly she wants from you. BUS 360 is a very hard course that needs a lot of efforts, but she your life easier! Definitely recommend her for BUS 360.

Workload is on par with any other upper level course, which might be a cold hard dose of reality for some. I bombed the first assignment, realised this wasn't going to be an easy writing course (I'm usually a good writer) and buckled down and worked hard. She's intense, but she is a great prof and will help you if you put in the effort too.

This is not a easy A course.If you know a lot about using Photoshop and After Effect,this course maybe very simple for you.No midterm and final.iclick quizzes are easy.However,projects and weekly homework will take you a lot of time.Make sure you are interested in digital design.

Chantal is a great proffessor, and I enjoyed her class. Although her expectations are high, they are doable. She gives you clear instructions on what she expects, and how to achieve them. If you listen in class, take her feedback, you will do well. She is fair with her marking scheme, and also has a combination of marks that make your final grade.

Chantal is really helpful and very flexible. She also has some high expectations for each project. Her lecture notes were useful and insightful. The written and iClicker quizzes were super easy. However, the weekly assignments were often a nuisance and irrelevant to the actual project.

Material is fairly relevant, but if you ever have problems with deadlines don't take this course. My assignments were decent to really good and I still failed the course because of deadlines. Assigned course material is unrealistic... 6 chapters a month not including a ton of additional assignments? Gee thanks Chantal. It's only 3 credits!

Chantal is extremely helpful when it comes to essay writing. She is skilled to engage with student discussions. There are a lot of fun activities in this class. She can make a boring writing course so enjoyable. The best professor I have had so far.

While the subjects she's assigned to might not be that interesting, she makes them bearable. Her classroom is usually full of interesting discussion, which is much better than just sitting and listening. She's very understanding and forgiving, which makes for much less stress on assignments you might be late on, etc.

She's okay, I managed to get an A for the final essay when I usually get B+ for my essays. She's helpful but considered a hard marker by most as the other people in my team didn't do so well. Shes energetic and spunky, maybe a tad intimidating even. Gave us chocolate on Halloween .. :D
