I really liked Prof. Sterling. I really did not think that she graded papers that hard. If you know how to write and form sentences. All you have to do if proof read your papers and she will basically tell you what to put in them. All you gotta do is take some notes. welcome to college people

She's very anal about what you write.. especially punctuation and verb tense. She can be very condescending (our class got lectured for 2 class periods on why we were irresponsible) but if you kiss up to her, she's more willing to help you outside of class. Grading- very harsh grader, the class is really hard. You'll need to devote a lot of time.

A wolf in sheep's clothing. She seems friendly, but she really isn't clear in what she wants from us, and she is anal. If you are obsessive about your writing right down to the semicolon, then by all means, take her. But if you're taking this class just to take it, FIND SOMEONE ELSE!

Hard but i thought she was fair. i learned a ton, really improved my writing and class was pretty interesting. If you want to slide by and not do alot of work this is not the teacher to take but she was one of the best teachers i had here so far she will email you back right away if you have questions.

Dr. Sterling was nice at the beginning of the semester. Unfortunately, her condescending side came out and a few of us suffered snide remarks and unfair grades. The class itself was pretty interesting but think twice about taking it.
