Excellent professor. The math book he wrote is one of the best I've had in my undergraduate education. He legitimately wants students to learn the material. Exams are open book/open notes.

Prof. Baron is clear, prepared, and engaging. He speaks with a slight Russian accent but this does not detract at all from the clarity and understandability of his lectures. Homework assignments are instructive and aid in taking and excelling at the exams. This moderately difficult material and Dr. Baron makes in accessible.

Great teacher! Didn't learn very much in class, but I went to him every office hours and I learned everything that I need to ace the quizzes and tests. I really learned a lot in this class and you should definitely take him as your P & S professor

Excellent professor. One of the best at UTD. Although you do have to earn your grade, if you study and attend lectures you can do well. The only thing is that he gives out quizes almost every week. But keeps things centered around course, and doesn't involve other things unlike most teachers that give out prog. assmts in some strange prog. language

Nice job. Actually took him twice, but it was because of my own misjudgments. The course is good and there is a weekly quiz in class to make sure you are on track. ONLY ONE EXAM an the FINAL.
