I enjoyed the class and topic of ethics in communications. The course work was relatively light. The lectures he posts were pretty entertaining and related the material to things in the real world. The only thing I did not like was the grading on the discussion board seemed erratic.

Comment:

This was one of my first online classes. In the beginning it was hard for me to see how much participation he wanted on the Discussion Boards, but I got the hang of it and it was easy. You have to watch each movie to do well, but the reading is somewhat optional, you just have to know the main points. Weekly discussions, 3 tests, 2 papers-simple.

DOC A is an exceptional professor! Engaged and responds to email quickly. I recommend him for any class. Be prepared to work for your A. There is a lot of reading material and he really encourages DB participation. He is a great professor. His classes are only available online. I wish I was able to physically attend his class. 1st rate professor!

Great guy! My only compliant is there was so much information to read. Pages and pages of notes. The majority of movies we watched were pre 1950s. As long as you watched the films, you could get by without reading all the notes. Just know what you're talking about for the discussion boards.

He was a great professor, and loved what he taught. He was very fair in grading, and if you actually watched the movies and read his lectures you would do fine. His only down fall is he wanted more conversation in his discussion boards, and my class did really try. However, he has lots to teach.

Very easy professor. At first, a little bit confusing about the schedule (I took it online), but it's not a big deal. Just make sure to check blackboard constantly. Watch all movies required. You do NOT have to watch the recommended movies. Never asks a question about those. 2 papers. EASY. 2.5 hour exams for 50 qestions. EASY!!!!!!!

Anyone who thought Doc was boring must have been in the wrong class! This professor is of the highest caliber! Flint is lucky to have him, and so are students who have ever had his classes! He IS entertaining, extremely well-versed, and makes class fun! A+ prof!

Thank god for internet classes. I had heard so much about how this guy was an awesome teacher and I can't agree more. He is very easy to get ahold of and genuinely cares for students. Definitely recommend. Ignore bad reviews, there completely wrong.
