He does keep you in lab a little longer but he is willing to help and explain any concepts you don't get. The lectures can get boring but are essential to passing. The only grades for the class are 4 tests which are not easy but they are not hard either, you just need to really study the lecture notes.

Plant Physiology is a really interesting class and complements Botany well. If you took Botany and Cell Bio, you already know a lot of what you will learn. His tests are hard, especially his true/false, but it can easily be made up by the labs. The labs are engaging, and he handed out extra credit on the reports like crazy.

Really boring lectures. Really boring lab. Your grade is pretty much made up of a few tests which are very difficult. Even going to class and taking notes won't get you a decent grade. Labs are unbearably dull.

Botany is an interesting class and Fuller is an awesome dude. The grades are only 4 tests, though, so you have no little grades to pull you up if you mess up the exams. Take pictures of everything in the labs because they will show up on the tests in the lab portion. The tests are alright, as long as you study EVERYTHING he says in lecture.

He is an extremely dull professor. His tests are more about remembering the small details that he mentions in lecture than actually understanding the concepts. You have 4 exams and they are your only grades so if you aren't a good test taker, look for another class. He also keeps you in lab much longer than other professors do.

Fuller is the best teacher I have ever had. He made me love biology and challenge myself to really learn the material. Yes his tests are hard but if you really know it you can do well. His lectures show how experienced and knowledgeable he is and he uses many interesting examples. He really knows everything about biology and i would highly recommen

In Bio 121 Fuller gives 4 tests. The final is not like the 3 other test so study really hard. His lectures are boring. GO TO CLASS because his powerpoints only have a few words on each one. There is no lab grade. He keeps you there 3 hours, except two labs. Lab questions are on his tests so write detailed responses when he goes over the answers.

Good guy, but very corny and boring as all heck. If you ask him about parts that you don't understand he will explain it for you in another way. I was never confused about anything after asking him. Also, he lets you go to another lab section if you can't make your assigned day.

He is very good professor. His tests are from lectures and a little from the book, and the tests are certainly possible. The tests are not hard if you study, which is about how every class is.

Dr. Fuller makes this class very tough, especially for a 200-level. Very disorganized, expects us to know a lot of information without emphasizing what is important while lecturing. His notes never match the handouts either. He is a nice guy but I don't recommend his class. Botany has ruined my otherwise high biology GPA.

He is a good man and he can teach, but if you never did bio before or you have trouble understanding. then dont take him. he teaches at a level no 1 understands but people who are jus good in bio anyways. test are based on notes(if you can understand what the powerpoints say) and some out the book. And the tests(hard) are the only grades you get Gu

I was very interested in the subject of tropical ecology before this class and I had done a lot of reading on the topic, but I still learned a great deal from Dr. Fuller. His tests were reasonable, and he's wonderfully entertaining. I'm looking forward to his botany class next semester.

Superb professor. Covers content at a brisk pace and is very thorough, lab accompanies lecture appropriately. Also, a very helpful individual. Tests are tough, but I could never blame anyone but myself when I got a question wrong. My only complaint would be that on the average test, there are a few questions that are detailed almost for sport.

He is very passionate about what he does and is such a nice guy. But his tests are impossible, and his lectures are very very hard to follow. If Bio is not your strongest subject, do not take him. This class is extremely hard for a 100-level class

actually the worst teacher ever. his lectures were boring, and he didn't explain basic concepts. He's **** and in love with plants. he knows his stuff, but for an intro level bio class, he focused WAY to much on plants (even though he has a set curriculum he's suppossed to follow). He's a pretty nice guy, but i hated his class
