Fall was Professor Bohakel's final semester teaching at LMC as he retired. Bohakel was the easiest history professor at LMC. You just had to show up for lecture and take a few quizzes, midterm, final, and do an oral presentation. Also, you could do a photographic project on a historical site instead of a term paper but the paper was fairly easy.

Bohakel is the sweetest teacher ever. He knows a lot about California history so lectures were short and easy. Videos and video notes every class. There is a lot of work to do but it is easy and accounts for most of your grade. He's super lenient about deadlines. Midterm is take home and final was pretty easy and quick. Got an A overall pretty easy

Had for hist 31 and 38. both very interesting taught by someone who knows their info, which is refreshing to have a teacher who understands all aspects of their field. DONT take advantage of his kindness. HE is one of the only unspoiled teachers left in the college system. Funny, interesting, and understanding. Great Prof.!

He is such a nice guy, and teacher. VERY lenient. He's one of the very few teachers that have a "turn it in when you finish" attitude. The problem is that it's easy to fall behind if you let assignments slide- which I did. Luckily he offers enough extra credit to bring you back up though. If you're looking for an easy A class, I recommend this.

Best teacher I have ever had! I hated history until I took his class! He made me understand it! Very helpful! He teaches the class like a highschool class so it is easy to understand! Seriously THE BEST teacher at LMC hands down

Bohakel is amazing!He is arguably the best teacher at LMC, no joke.Yes, he's easy, but you also learn a lot from his classes.I highly recommend taking him at least once.This is a very stress free class, and it's a perfect balance if your other classes are stressful.

This class was so easy, he gives out extra credit left and right. In class you take notes and watch movies, do one presentation, and one 10 pg term paper. The modterm we had a study guide her gave us the answers for it and got a note card. the final was in 2 parts a take home and then an open-book vocab test in class. easy A!!
