very easy class, but honestly didn't learn a thing. he's very helpful by extending deadlines and working with students who face problems (family, athletics, etc.), but is too quiet to hear in class

I had a hard time staying awake in class, he uses powerpoint slides to teach. Class could have been much more interesting. Lots of quizzes...exams are multiple choice, true/false and matching. He goes over the matching part of the exam beforehand.

If you're going to take ISM 3011 then I would definitely suggest Prof. Buckley. For the most part one should study the PP slides, do the online quizzes (pop quizzes come straight from it), and complete the assignments (ie: webpage and databases). Most likely one will come out of there with an A or high B. =)

Monotone teaching, however, this class is an opportunity boost your GPA. He does quiz a lot, but the quizes are helpful towards test material. He outlines what you need to study for exams.

I've had Buckley before, when he just "substituted" for another teacher in ISM3011. However, I don't know if he even knows what he is talking about in this class. Very unorganized; the class is not setup well. I could learn more from readin the book than going to class. His answers to questions about VB, make me wonder if he really knows his stuff.

Mr. Buckley is an extremely good professor. Very knowledgable. Gives short 10 question quizzes. Test are ok if you studied. Always available to help and even visits the computer lab to help students out he sees. Would recommend.

I walked away from his class a better, more informed person with real-world knowledge. Buckley is a very sweet man who does relate well to his students. Some say he is easy, but I worked hard for my A. I highly recommend Buckley.
